Where are the experiments performed?
In reviewed partner laboratories in China that use automated methods. AssayDirect defines the scope, reviews the data and stays accountable for the result. Please check this fits your organisation's requirements before ordering.
What if a candidate doesn't express or doesn't bind?
Unsuccessful expression or no detectable binding is recorded in the results, along with any available yield and quality-control data. A negative candidate result is different from a failed assay. Check the service scope and failure-handling terms for details.
When does the turnaround start?
For sequence services, once your file passes format and biosafety screening. For sample services, once samples pass intake QC.
What if my project is outside the standard scope?
Send a custom project enquiry. A scientist usually responds within two business days to discuss scope and pricing.
What does the starting price cover?
One candidate in the standard configuration of a service, including assay setup, controls and the listed base scope. Each project has a minimum charge, so a small order can cost the same as a single candidate. Adding candidates or higher-specification options raises the total once it exceeds that minimum. The configurator shows the exact total before you pay.
Will I receive physical material?
Standard orders deliver data and reports, not physical material. If you need expressed protein or peptides shipped, contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability and the shipping fee. Material may be used up during testing. Sample-based services still require you to send samples to us.
